The Friends of Fort Abercrombie Purpose

The Friends of Fort Abercrombie is a local non-profit affiliate of the State Historical Society of North Dakota.  Our mission is the historic preservation, reconstruction of, and public education about Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site.The Friends of Fort Abercrombie have provided thousands of hours of volunteer time as well as generous financial assistance for the historic fort site.  Contributions have included the construction of a flag pole and flag mall, small reconstruction projects and assisting the staff of the State Historical Society of North Dakota through the purchase and donation of building materials.
